The successful inaugural SCCT Taiwan Forum on April 25, 2015
The inaugural SCCT Taiwan IRC meeting has successfully taken place at the Medical School of National Taiwan University on April 25, 2015. The main theme of the forum was "Quality assurance of cardiovascular CT: scanning and reporting". A total of 219 attendants crowded the lecture hall, and many were not been able to register due to limit of seats. Of them, 18% were technologists and 45% were not from medical centers. The number of international membership has doubled to 52. SCCT president Dr. Ricardo Cury delivered his welcome address and perspectives for Taiwan IRC via a webinar. There were three invited speakers: Dr. Suhny Abbara, Dr. Szilard Voros and Dr. John Hoe and five Taiwanese speakers. The forum included lectures, games, reading-with-the-experts sessions and a review of current status of cardiovascular CT in Taiwan, which facilitated the interaction among the speakers and audience.
